Aaron Reding

Aaron Reding is the General Manager and a Managing Partner of Homestead Family Farms in Howardstown, Kentucky.  He graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1996 with a BS in Animal Science. After returning home from UK, Aaron led the transition of the farm from a farrow-to-finish hog operation to a diversified grain operation.  The farm currently grows corn, soybeans, winter wheat, rye and malting barley.  All of their corn is grown exclusively for bourbon distilleries in the area.  In addition to serving as the General Manager for the farm, Aaron also leads business development, marketing and sales, and some aspects of operations.

 

Aaron and his wife Ashley have three children: Kathryn (19), Andrew (13) and Adam (11).
